How it works
Two lines attached to the side of the boat activate the electric winch and the boat is lifted up, then flipped over, then gently placed ontop of any vehicle. The opposite of the above happens when the electric whinch is switched to reverse. No manual lifting of the boat is required. The loader is designed to bolt to an existing rack where the boats are being loaded manually. Many people are now using our canoe loader to load their boats onto SUV's, cars, etc. NOTE: If you don't have an existing rack please phone or email for a quote. |

Kayak or Canoe Loader ?
The automatic canoe loader is much the same as the kayak loader with the exception of the loading arm. The canoe loading arm is longer than the kayak loading arm to allow more room for the wider canoes. Extra wide kits can be custom made to accomodate the new pontoon boats that are popular today with the fly fishermen. When loading canoes, the equalizing bar is fastened to the side of the canoe farthest away from the vehicle it is being loaded on. When the canoe reaches the loading arms it is flipped onto its gunnels and comes to rest on top of the vehicle upside down. |
